Do I need to know how to code?Expand

No. You tell us what you do, we recommend a starter team, and you assign missions in plain English. The right AI employee applies the right playbook against your real business context — you get the work back.

How does the free tier work?Expand

Sign up with email or Google and you get 200 credits, no card required. That's enough to compile a Quick Brain, hire your first AI employee, and run two or three starter missions. Nothing charges until you decide to add a plan or top up.

What's a credit?Expand

Credits are how you pay per mission. Short missions are a few credits, a 30-day marketing plan is around 25, a landing page is around 50. Your first 200 are free — enough to feel the value before you spend anything.

What's the best first mission to try?Expand

Start with the 30-day marketing plan from your Marketing Manager, the first cold email sequence from your Sales Rep, or the inbox triage rules from your Executive Assistant. All three appear on /start as soon as your Quick Brain is compiled.

Do top-up credits expire?Expand

No. Anything you buy outside a plan — $1 to $100,000 custom top-ups — never expires. The 200 free credits at signup carry a 12-month expiry; we email you twice before any expire.

Do plan credits roll over?Expand

Plan credits refresh at the start of each billing cycle and unused plan credits don't carry over. That's what top-ups are for — anything you top up outside the plan stays on your balance forever.

What happens after I burn through my free 200 credits?Expand

Nothing breaks. You'll see a banner asking you to add a plan or top up. Hires, Workroom, completed missions, and Chronicle stay accessible. Once you add credits, everything resumes where it left off.

How fast does a mission actually run?Expand

Most missions return in 30–90 seconds. Heavier ones — full marketing plans, landing pages, multi-step research — can take 1–3 minutes. You'll see live status the entire time, and the result lands in your Workroom with the receipt attached.

What's the best first mission to try?Expand

What's the difference between a Role and a specialist?Expand

A Role is the real-world title you'd hire for — Marketing Manager, Sales Rep, Operations Manager. Behind each role is a coordinated team of specialist AI employees (Growth Hacker, SEO Strategist, Social Media Manager, etc.) who do the actual work. You think in roles, the system orchestrates the specialists.

What if a mission goes sideways?Expand

Nothing breaks. You can rerun, refine, or dismiss the result. If a mission fails before finishing, your credits aren't charged. Every mission is logged in your Workroom so you can replay or reroute.

Can I upload my own brand or files?Expand

Yes. Quick Brain reads your website on signup, and every mission accepts attachments — logos, PDFs, CSVs, Word docs, spreadsheets. Anything you drop in becomes context your AI employees use on every mission going forward.

Can AI employees keep working overnight?Expand

Yes. Any AI employee can run on autopilot — schedule outbound sales sequences, AR collections, daily digests, content calendars. Sensitive actions (sending the actual email, charging a card) wait for your approval in the Approvals inbox.

Do AI employees remember past missions?Expand

Yes. Each AI employee keeps a structured memory of approved patterns, voice and format preferences, and lessons from past missions — visible in the Chronicle. Anything an AI proposes to remember lands as a learning proposal you approve, edit, or reject.

Can AI employees email me — or can I email them?Expand

Yes. Every AI employee gets an inbound email alias under inbox.automatebusinessnow.com. Forward a customer email to your Sales Rep, attach a brief to your Marketing Manager — the mission lands in your Workroom and the result comes back to your inbox.

Can an AI employee generate images, video, and voice — not just text?Expand

Yes. Your Marketing Manager and Creative Director both orchestrate Graphic Designer (image), Studio (video and motion), and AI Avatar (voice + UGC) specialists. Same credit balance, all in your Workroom.

Will this work with my existing tools — QuickBooks, Excel, HubSpot?Expand

For self-serve missions, paste or upload what you have. For deeper integrations — CRMs, inventory, AR, phone systems — connect them on the Connections page (500+ tools available) or book a free call for the custom on-prem side.

Are my prompts used to train AI models?Expand

No. We don't train any model on your data, and every model vendor we route to runs on a no-train enterprise endpoint — your data is never used in their training either. Full subprocessor list lives on our Privacy page.

What if a mission gives me something wrong?Expand

You can always rerun. Worst case you spent a few credits. There's a thumbs-up / thumbs-down on every result — if you flag it bad, we credit you back and use the report to tune your hires' future missions.

What does the $29 plan actually cover?Expand

3,000 credits per month. Enough for a marketing plan, a few cold email sequences, a landing page, and a handful of ops missions. Upgrade when it stops being enough.

Any time, one click in your Credits page. Credits you already paid for stay on your balance and never expire.

Can I get a refund?Expand

If a mission genuinely fails or returns garbage, your credits auto-refund. If you accidentally bought a plan you didn't mean to, email us within 7 days and we'll reverse it.

Data & privacy

Where your data lives, what you can export, deletion.

Is my data safe?Expand

We never sell or share what you put in. Each user only sees their own missions. Your prompts train nothing — they're used for the mission, persisted so you can replay, and that's it.

Where does my data actually live?Expand

On a US-based, SOC-2-certified database. Files you attach are stored encrypted at rest. The full subprocessor list is on our Privacy page along with what each one receives (just the mission inputs and attachments needed for that mission).

Can I export everything I've made?Expand

Yes. Settings → Your data → Export downloads a single JSON file with every mission, artifact, hire, memory entry, and ledger row. No support ticket needed.

Can I delete my account?Expand

Yes. Settings → Your data → Delete account. Type DELETE to confirm and your auth, missions, hires, memory, and ledger get wiped. Stripe customer record stays for tax/compliance, no other personal data.

Everything else

Do I pick the AI employee, or does ABN?Expand

Both. After Quick Brain, ABN recommends a starter team based on your business. You can hire those, swap them, or browse the full roster at /app/hire. Roles are real-world titles — pick the ones you'd actually post to.

What if I want a fully custom AI employee for my workflow?Expand
